The Honey Bun: Top Knot 2.0

The Hun Takeover

The hun is the new hairstyle of the moment. From celebrities to stylists, bloggers to trehun with dark lipstickndy fashionistas, everyone wants a little honey bun in their life.

Everyone is on board with the new trend. Even the big magazines like Harpers Bizarre and Marie Claire. Among all, the hun has been marked the new go-to hairstyle for the hip trendsetter.

Fashion blogger Keri Fay states that she adores the hun look, and wears it almost every day.

“I love it! I think it’s a chic way to wear a messy hair look…I’m obsessed, its the girl version of the man bun.”

Been a while since you’ve washed your hair? Gabrielle Dyer of LOOK states that hun works best with slightly dirty hair and textured hair. If you tend to roll out of bed to class, this style may be your ticket to trendy.

The hun, unlike many trendy hairstyles, works with any type of hair, regardless of texture or length, states Elite Daily.

Marie Claire offers a step by step tutorial on how to get the basic hun look. Packed with versatility, the hun can be worn tight, lose, big, or little. You can add some braids, slick it back or even keep it classic. You make the look.

As NYFW continues, keep an eye out for the hun bun and all its honeys!
